IGMP Proxy Interface Configuration
To display the IGMP Proxy Interface Configuration page, click Routing Multicast IGMP
Proxy Interface Configuration.
To configure an interface as an IGMP proxy:
1. Use Interface to select the port for which data is to be configured. You must have
configured at least one router interface before configuring or displaying data for an
IGMP Proxy interface and it should not be a IGMP routing interface.
2. Use Admin Mode to set the administrative status of IGMP Proxy on the selected interface.
The default is disable. Routing, IGMP and Multicast global admin modes should be enabled
to enable IGMP Proxy interface mode.
3. Use Version to enter the version of IGMP you want to configure on the selected interface.
Valid values are (1 to 3) and the default value is 3. This field is configurable only when IGMP
Proxy interface mode is enabled.
4. Use Unsolicited Report Interval to enter the unsolicited time interval value in seconds. The
Unsolicited Report Interval is the time between repetitions of a host's initial report of
membership in a group. Valid values are from (1 to 260). The default value is 1.
Field Description
IP Address The IP address of the IGMP Proxy interface.
Subnet Mask The subnet mask for the IP address of the IGMP Proxy interface.
Operational Mode The operational state of IGMP Proxy interface.
Number of Groups The current number of multicast group entries for the IGMP Proxy
interface in the cache table.
