DHCP Snooping
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Snooping is a security feature that monitors
DHCP messages between a DHCP client and DHCP server to accomplish the following
tasks:
Filter harmful DHCP messages
Build a bindings database with entries that consist of the following information:
MAC address
IP address
VLAN ID
Client port
Entries in the bindings database are considered to be authorized network clients.

Multicast Storm Recovery Level Specify the threshold at which storm control activates. The factory
default is 5 percent of port speed for pps type.
Unicast Storm Recovery Mode Enable or disable this option by selecting the corresponding line on
the pull-down entry field. When you specify Enable for Unicast Storm
Recovery and the unicast traffic on the specified Ethernet port
exceeds the configured threshold, the switch blocks (discards) the
unicast traffic. The factory default is disabled.
Unicast Storm Recovery Level Type Specify the Unicast Storm Recovery Level as a percentage of link
speed or as packages per second.
Unicast Storm Recovery Level Specify the threshold at which storm control activates. The factory
default is 5 percent of port speed for pps type.
