enable 802.1x
Purpose Used to enable the 802.1x server on the Switch.
Syntax
enable 802.1x
Description The enable 802.1x command enables the 802.1x Network Access control
server application on the Switch. To select between port-based or MAC-
based, use the config 802.1x auth_mode command.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable 802.1x switch wide:
DGS-3600:4#enable 802.1x
Command: enable 802.1x
Success.
DGS-3600:4#
disable 802.1x
Purpose Used to disable the 802.1x server on the Switch.
Syntax
disable 802.1x
Description The disable 802.1x command is used to disable the 802.1x Network
Access control server application on the Switch. To select between port-
based or MAC-based, use the config 802.1x auth_mode command.
Parameters None.

To disable 802.1x on the Switch:

Purpose Used to display the current configuration of the 802.1x server on the Switch.
Syntax
show 802.1x auth_configuration {ports [<portlist> | all]}
Description The show 802.1x auth_configuration command is used to display the 802.1x
Port-based or MAC-based Network Access control local users currently configured
on the Switch.
Parameters
ports <portlist> Specifies a port or range of ports to view. The port list is specified
by listing the lowest switch number and the beginning port number on that switch,
separated by a colon. Then the highest switch number, and the highest port
number of the range (also separated by a colon) are specified. The beginning and
end of the port list range are separated by a dash. For example, 1:3 specifies
