enable sim
Purpose Used to enable Single IP Management (SIM) on the Switch
Syntax
enable sim
Description This command will enable SIM globally on the Switch. SIM features
and functions will not function properly unless this function is
enabled.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable SIM on the Switch:
DGS-3600:4#enable sim
Command: enable sim
Success.

disable sim
Purpose Used to disable Single IP Management (SIM) on the Switch.
Syntax
disable sim
Description This command will disable SIM globally on the Switch.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.

To disable SIM on the Switch:
DGS-3600:4#disable sim
Command: disable sim
Success.

show sim
Purpose Used to view the current information regarding the SIM group on the
Switch.
Syntax
show sim {[candidates {<candidate_id 1-100>} | members
{<member_id 1-32>} | group {commander_mac <macaddr>} |
neighbor]}
Description This command will display the current information regarding the SIM
group on the Switch, including the following:
SIM Version - Displays the current Single IP Management version on
the Switch.
Firmware Version - Displays the current Firmware version on the
Switch.
Device Name - Displays the user-defined device name on the Switch.
