switchShutdown
Halt the operational switch.
Syntax
switchShutdown
Availability Admin
Description This command halts the switch operation without disrupting the
other switch in the ED-12000B chassis.
This command must be used in combination with
switchStart.
This command brings down all the daemons associated with the
switch; frees the resources and object states associated with the
switch to a clear state and disables all the ports and blades associated
with the switch.
Operands None
Example
To bring down the operational switch:
switch:admin> switchShutdown
Stopping Switch 1 daemons:done.
