Description Use this command to display firmware version information and build
dates.
The following is displayed as shown in Table 1-36:
Usually the
Made on and Flash dates are the same, since the switch
starts running flash firmware at power-on. However, in the time
period between
firmwareDownload and the next reboot, the dates
can differ.

Example
To display firmware version information on a DS-32B2:

Version of switch kernel operating system.
Fabric OS:
Version of switch Fabric OS.
Made on:
Build date of firmware running in switch.
Flash:
Build date of firmware stored in flash proms.
BootProm:
Displays the build date of firmware stored in
boot PROM.
