Using PowerSave Time
The adjustable PowerSave Time feature reduces power consumption when the printer has
been inactive for an extended period. You can set the length of time before the printer goes
into PowerSave mode to 1 MINUTE, 15 MINUTES, 30 MINUTES, or to 1 HOUR, 1.5
HOURS, 2 HOURS, or 4 HOURS. The default setting is 30 MINUTES.
NOTE
The printer display appears dimmed when the printer is in PowerSave mode. PowerSave
mode does not affect printer warm-up time, unless the printer is in PowerSave mode for
more than eight hours.
To set PowerSave Time
1. Press M

to highlight Configure Device.

to select Configure Device.
4. Press
to highlight SYSTEM SETUP.
5. Press
to select SYSTEM SETUP.
6. Press
to highlight Powersave Time.
7. Press
