Configuring Voice System-Level Parameters
Certain database parameters apply to specific ports or interfaces. Others are con-
figured only once, and apply to all voice calls on the node.
Pressing
[A]
at the Voice Configuration Menu will display a menu similar to the fol-
lowing.

After making any changes, be sure to press
[F7]
to update the
system memory. Otherwise, the changes will not take effect until
the next re-boot of the SmartSwitch 1800.
Table 13-1 lists the system-level parameters. Explanations of the parameters follow
the table.
