15.5 Disassembly and Replacement
[A] Image quality sensor / Image quality sensor
shutter solenoid
(1) Take off the fuser unit ( Chapter 16.7 [A]).
Take off the transfer belt unit ( Chapter 14.7
[A]).
(2) Open the 2nd transfer cover. Remove 2 screws
and disconnect 2 connectors. Take off the
image quality sensor assembly.
Note: Insert latches of sensor case to the hole of
the plate securely when installing.
(3) Remove 2 screws and take off the image quality
sensor.
(4) Remove 2 screws and take off the image quality
sensor shutter solenoid.
