show crypto ca-certificate
Displays information about the certificate authority’s PEM-encoded PKCS#7 certificate.
Syntax: show crypto ca-certificate {admin | eap | web}
admin Displays information about the certificate authority’s certificate that signed
the administrative certificate for the switch. The administrative certificate
authenticates the switch to Web View.
eap Displays information about the certificate authority’s certificate that signed
the Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) certificate for the switch.
The EAP certificate authenticates the DWS to 802.1X supplicants (clients).
web Displays information about the certificate authority’s certificate that signed
the WebAAA certificate for the switch. The WebAAA certificate
authenticates the switch to WebAAA clients.
Defaults: None.
Access: Enabled.
Examples: To display information about the certificate of a certificate authority, type the following
command:
DWS-1008# show crypto ca-certificate
The table below describes the fields in the display.
Fields Description
Version Version of the X.509 certificate.
Serial Number A unique identifier for the certificate or signature.
Subject Name of the certificate owner.
Signature
Algorithm
Algorithm that created the signature, such as RSA MD5 or RSA
SHA.
Issuer Certificate authority that issued the certificate or signature.
Validity Time period for which the certificate is valid.
