DISKO
The DISKO utility, available when the Octel 200/300 is booted from floppy software using the Update disks,
prepares the message server for
- Adding a disk
- Removing a disk
- Replacing a disk
- Restoring system
- Upgrading languages
- Copying a disk (3.0)
. DISKO prepares the message server for software upgrades. Option 6, UPGRADE SYSTEM, is used only for
upgrades. The instructions for upgrades are not covered in this manual. Support Notes that accompany the
upgrade disks detail the procedure to follow.
. DISKO allows drives to be copied. Option 7, DISK COPY, is used only when a drive is failing and needs to
be replaced or to create a backup before performing an upgrade.
DISKO is accessible only after booting the Octel 200/300 from the software disks. It cannot be run from the hard
disk.
