Check the following items and correct
the problem.
• Check whether the total specified
number of link words in the area (O1,
O2, I1, I2) exceeds 128.
• The same area with link word
specification is used by both ports 1
and 2.
• A write instruction with constant
specification is specified.
• An EM Area read/write instruction is
specified as an interrupt notification.
• There are more than 30 write
attributes set for one message.
• The length of a send/receive message
is set to 0 bytes.
• The length of a send/receive message
is longer than 127 bytes.
• No messages are registered for matrix
reception.
• Both RTS/CTS flow control and
Xon/Xoff flow control are set for the
same transmission line.

in the PC system setup of the Serial
Communications Board was being
modified using the Programming
Device.
