255.255.255.0 on VLAN mauve:
WX1200# set interface mauve ip 10.10.20.10 255.255.255.0
success: set ip address 10.10.20.10 netmask 255.255.255.0 on vlan mauve

set interface status Administratively disables or reenables an IP interface.
Syntax — set interface vlan-id status {up | down}
vlan-id — VLAN name or number.
up — Enables the interface.
down — Disables the interface.
Defaults — IP interfaces are enabled by default.
Access — Enabled.
History— Introduced in MSS Version 3.0.
Examples — The following command disables the IP interface on VLAN
mauve:
WX4400# set interface mauve status down
success: set interface mauve to down
