520 CHAPTER 21: BOOT PROMPT COMMANDS
help Displays a list of all the boot prompt commands or detailed information
for an individual command.
Syntax —
help [command-name]
command-name — Boot prompt command.
Defaults — None.
Access — Boot prompt.
History —Introduced in MSS Version 3.0.
Usage — If you specify a command name, detailed information is
displayed for that command. If you do not specify a command name, all
the boot prompt commands are listed.
Examples — The following command displays detailed information for
the fver command:
boot> help fver
fver Display the version of the specified device:filename.
USAGE: fver [c:file|d:file|e:file|f:file|boot0:file|boot1:file|
boot2:file|boot3:file]
Command to display the version of the compressed image file
associated with the given device:filename.
