Provision GR-303 Service
Provision “Drop” DS1 Circuits to Subscriber
NOTE: Remote Access Bank II provisioning requires “esf” framing and remote device
management for “cafdl” protocol. See Provision Remote Access Bank II on page 11-1.
Remote Adit 600 provisioning requires remote device management protocol for "cafdl" or
"caip" depending on management configuration. P-Phone service is enabled by "caip" with
the "pphone" option. There can be only one management DS1 to a remote Adit 600, so all
other DS1s to that Adit 600 must be set to point to the management DS1. See Provision
Remote Adit 600 via FDL on page 12-1 and Provision Remote Adit 600 via IP DS0 on
page 13-1.
11. Set drop DS1 remote device management protocol to none, Carrier Access FDL, Carrier Access IP,
or a DS1 with the following command:
set ds1 <n> remote device mgmt
<none|cafdl|caip <ipaddress>|ds1 n> [pphone]
Example: set ds1 9 remote device mgmt none
Example: set ds1 9 remote device mgmt cafdl
Example: set ds1 9 remote device mgmt caip 192.168.201.1
Example: set ds1 9 remote device mgmt caip 192.168.201.1 pphone
