Access Navigator - Release 1.8 August 2003 10-27
Provision GR-303 Service
Provision ISDN BRI 4:1 TDM Service to Subscribers
4. Un-assign ISDN BRI channels with the following command:
set ds0 <n:ch> isdn none
Example: set ds0 10:10 isdn none
NOTE: In the set ds0 isdn command, the crv <range> modifier can only be used
to assign D channel CRVs. The D channels must be assigned in groups of four, but a zero
can be used as a place holder.
The B1, B2, and D channels of each ISDN BRI connection must use the same CRV.
5. Set ISDN BRI B1, B2, and D channels and CRVs with the following command:
set ds0 <n:ch> isdn <b1|b2|d> crv <range>
Example: set ds0 10:1 isdn b1 crv 1
Example: set ds0 10:2 isdn b2 crv 1
Example: set ds0 10:3 isdn b1 crv 2
Example: set ds0 10:4 isdn b2 crv 2
Example: set ds0 10:24 isdn d crv 1,2,3,4
NOTE: If RDT provisioning is enabled in the switch, the switch can upload the ISDN
CRVs and provision the ISDN D channel DS0s, without requiring a switch operator to
manually enter this information into the switch database. The Access Navigator will then
crossconnect the D channel switch DS0s to the drop DS0s.
6. If RDT provisioning is enabled in the switch, send the switch a request to provision the ISDN CRVs
with the following command:
send switch provision request
Verify that switch has provisioned ISDN D channel DS0s:
show isdn database
Skip remaining steps.
