CLI Command List
Example: set ethernet ip address 192.168.118.65 255.255.255.0
Example: set ethernet ip address none
Set ID
Purpose: Sets the System Identifier of the Access Navigator. This is a name, location, or
Telcordia CLLI code. is a text string, such as “Acme Corp. AN#2” or
“DNVRCO1A201”. The System Identifier also appears in the command line prompt.
The default System Identifier is “Access Navigator” so the command prompt will be
“Access Navigator>”. When you change the identifier, the prompt will also change.
NOTE: If other management sessions are in progress, those operators will
not see the new prompt until they initiate a new session.
Security: Level 2 (operator)
Syntax: set id <"id">
Example: set id "Acme Corp. AN#2"
Example: set id "DNVRCO1A201"
Set IP Gateway Address
Purpose: Sets IP address to gateway for routing packets that fall outside the Access Navigator’s
Ethernet IP address. A gateway is any device that passes packets from one network to
another network in their trip across the Internet.
Security: Level 2 (operator)
mask The Access Navigator uses a subnet mask to identify the
permissible range of addresses for each IP address. Large
networks are usually divided into smaller subnetworks, each with
an assigned range of IP addresses. Subnet masks have the format
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, where each xxx is a decimal number
between 0 and 255. Subnet masks usually start with one or more
groups of 255. Typical examples include 255.255.0.0 and
255.255.255.0. If a subnet mask is not used, type
none or
leave blank.
Field Description
"id" The user defined identifier can be up to 20 characters long, and
may use any combination of letters and numbers. The identifier
must be enclosed in quote marks.
