Syntax To remove a password from protecting the router:
password The console displays "Which password is
changing?”.
type type is either M for manager or U for user password.
The console displays “Enter current manager
password” if a manager password exists.
mgr mgr is the current manager password required, if
assigned, to remove either password. The console
displays “Enter current password”.
current current is the password currently set for the type
you selected. The console screen displays “Enter
new password”.
[Return] (Just press [Return] without typing anything else.
The console displays “Enter new password again”.
[Return] (Just press [Return] again to confirm.)
