Show the Running-Configuration for an Interface
View the configuration for any interface with the following command.
Figure 22-10 illustrates the
show running-config command output. Note the IPv6 address listed.

Clear IPv6 Routes
Use the clear IPv6 route command to clear routes from the IPv6 routing table.
Command Syntax Command Mode Purpose
show running-config
interface
type {slot/port}
EXEC Show the currently running configuration for the
specified interface
Enter the keyword
interface followed by the type of
interface and slot/port information:
• For a 10/100/1000 Ethernet interface, enter the
keyword GigabitEthernet followed by the slot/
port information.
• For a Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the
keyword
GigabitEthernet followed by the slot/
port information.
• For the Management interface on the RPM, enter
the keyword
ManagementEthernet followed by
the slot/port information.
• For a 10 Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the
keyword TenGigabitEthernet followed by the
slot/port information.
Command Syntax Command Mode Purpose
clear ipv6 route {* | ipv6 address
prefix-length}
EXEC Clear (refresh) all or a specific routes from the IPv6
routing table.
* : all routes
ipv6 address : x:x:x:x::x
mask : prefix length 0-128
