8.2 Configuration Definition Commands
(1) Synopsis
• Specifies the VLAN ID for receiving traffic without tags for operation of an
interface in VLAN Trunk mode
• Resets this setting for a member of the native vlan to the default value
(2) Options
z <vlan-id>
Specifies the native vlan id of the VLAN to be allocated to traffic without tags when
the interface is in 802.1Q VLAN Trunk mode.

• Sets the native vlan id of a port in Trunk mode to VLAN3
• Resets the native vlan id of a port-channel port to the default value
(6) Error Messages
• % Incomplete command.
Cause: Incomplete command input
Action: Enter the command string correctly.

no switchport native vlan
