Step 7 - Interface IP Address Configuration
This screen allows you to configure the interface by obtaining an IP address from a PPPoE server or a
DHCP server, or by specifying an IP address and subnet mask.
Fields
Outside IP Address or Internet IP Address area
• Use the following IP address—Choose this option to specify an outside IP address.
• IP Address/ Mask—Enter the specific IP address and choose the subnet mask from the drop-down
list.
• Use DHCP—Choose this option to obtain an outside IP address from a DHCP server.
• Obtain default rote using DHCP—Check this check box to obtain the default route for an outside IP
address from a DHCP server.
• Use PPoE—Choose this option to obtain an outside IP address from a PPoE server.
Inside IP Address or Business IP Address area
• Use the following IP address—Choose this option to specify an inside IP address.
• IP Address/ Mask—Enter the specific inside IP address and choose the subnet mask from the
drop-down list.
• Use DHCP—Choose this option to obtain an inside IP address from a DHCP server.
• Use PPoE—Choose this option to obtain an inside IP address from a PPoE server.
DMZ IP Address or Home IP Address area
• Use the following IP address—Choose this option to specify a DMZ IP address.
• IP Address/ Mask—Enter the specific DMZ IP address and choose the subnet mask from the
drop-down list.
• Use DHCP—Choose this option to obtain a DMZ IP address from a DHCP server.
• Use PPoE—Choose this option to obtain a DMZ IP address from a PPoE server.
