Storing/Editing Address Book Settings
Addresses Obtained via a Server
You can store an address that is obtained by searching the directory listings on the
network using LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) servers.
NOTE

You may have to set up the LDAP servers beforehand, depending on the network
environment.

For more information on LDAP servers, see "LDAP Server Settings," on p. 11-43.

The information that can be obtained via the LDAP server are names and e-mail
addresses. If the optional Super G3 FAX Board or Super G3 Multi-Line FAX Board is
installed, fax numbers in addition to the above mentioned information can be also
obtained via the LDAP server.

Press (Additional Functions) ➞ [Address Book Settings] ➞
[Register Address] ➞ [Register New Address].
If necessary, see the screen shots in step 1 and step 2 of "Fax Numbers," on
p. 10-5.
