The digital image processing block performs the following density processing:
[1] LOG conversion Part 2>Chapter 3>2.4.1
[2] Density correction Part 2>Chapter 3>2.4.4
[3] AE processing Part 2>Chapter 3>2.5.2
[4] Density adjustment Part 2>Chapter 3>2.4.3
[5] Density adjustment during printing
Of the foregoing functions, 1. through 4. are performed when scanner input image data is being
read, and 5. is performed when printing scanner input image data/PDL input image data.

Selects an F value table to suit the Copy
Density key setting on the control panel.
