C. Controlling Temperature by Mode
The surface temperature of the fixing roller is controlled according to purpose for the following
operating modes:
Transparency mode
Thick paper mode
Power save mode
Correction
Lowers the control temperature.
Increases the down sequence rush
temperature.
Lowers the control temperature for
STBY.
Purpose
To prevent wrapping of
transparencies.
To prevent drops in the surface
temperature of the fixing roller.
To reduce the power consumption.
