PRIORITY GROUP Mode
To create an ETS priority group, use PRIORITY GROUP mode. For more information, refer to ETS
Commands.
To enter PRIORITY GROUP mode:
1. Verify that you are logged in to CONFIGURATION mode.
2. Enter the priority-group command then the group name. The prompt changes to include (conf-
pg).
You can return to CONFIGURATION mode by using the exit command.
PROTOCOL GVRP Mode
To enable and configure GARP VLAN Registration Protocol (GVRP), use PROTOCOL GVRP mode. For
more information, refer to GARP VLAN Registration (GVRP).
To enter PROTOCOL GVRP mode:
1. Verify that you are logged in to CONFIGURATION mode.
2. Enter the protocol gvrp command. The prompt changes to include (config-gvrp).
You can return to CONFIGURATION mode by using the exit command.
QOS POLICY Mode
To configure ETS bandwidth allocation and scheduling for priority traffic, use QOS POLICY mode. For
more information, refer to ETS Commands.
To enter QOS POLICY mode:
1. Verify that you are logged in to CONFIGURATION mode.
2. Enter the qos-policy-output command, then the policy name, then ets. The prompt changes to
include (conf-qos-policy-out-ets).
You can return to CONFIGURATION mode by using the exit command.
RAPID SPANNING TREE (RSTP) Mode
To enable and configure RSTP, use RSTP mode. For more information, refer to Rapid Spanning Tree
Protocol (RSTP).
To enter RSTP mode:
1. Verify that you are logged in to CONFIGURATION mode.
2. Enter the protocol spanning-tree rstp command. The prompt changes to include (conf-rstp).
You can return to CONFIGURATION mode by using the exit command.
ROUTE-MAP Mode
To configure a route map, use ROUTE-MAP mode.
To enter ROUTE-MAP mode:
1. Verify that you are logged in to CONFIGURATION mode.
