Usage
Information
The following describes the show ip cam command shown in the following
example.
Field Description
Index Displays the CAM index number of the entry.
Destination Displays the destination route of the index.
EC Displays the number of equal cost multipaths (ECMP)
available for the default route for non-Jumbo line cards. For
Jumbo line cards, displays 0,1 when ECMP is more than
eight.
CG Displays 0.
V Displays a 1 if the entry is valid and a 0 if the entry is for a
line card with Catalog number beginning with LC-EF.
C Displays the CPU bit. 1 indicates that a packet hitting this
entry is forwarded to the CP or RP2, depending on Egress
port.
Next-Hop Displays the next hop IP address of the entry.
VId Displays the VLAN ID. If the entry is 0, the entry is not part of
a VLAN.
Mac Addr Displays the next-hop router’s MAC address.
Port Displays the egress interface. Use the second half of the
entry to determine the interface. For example, in the entry
17cl CP, the CP is the pertinent portion.
CP = control processor
RP2 = route processor 2
Gi = Gigabit Ethernet interface
