5. Operation
The following diagram shows the output waveforms of the Clock Monitor.
(1) The MONCLK pin is in high impedance state.
(2) CMSEL is set from “0000” (no clock selected) to the selected (and prescaled) clock.
(3) The MONCLK pin changes to output “L” status (output “H” if MONCKI is set to ‘1’) for one period of the
internal (prescaled) clock.
(4) After one period of the selected (and prescaled) internal clock MONCLK outputs the selected (and
prescaled) internal clock.
(5) CMSEL is set from the selected clock to “0000” (no clock selected).
(6) The MONCLK pin changes to output “L” status (output “H” if MONCKI is set to ‘1’) for one period of the
internal (prescaled) clock.
(7) The MONCLK pin switches to high impedance state.
